You can contribute to Disturbing Search Requests if you have a referrer log analyzer or a counter that gives referrers to your site. Here are instructions for adding a counter or log analyzer to your site. For many sites, you simply add the counter code to the web pages on your site. For small, hand coded sites, this can be done manually. Some sites have a template that will allow you to add the code to all of the pages at once. Instructions for adding counter code to specific sites can be found below.
You will need to find a counter or log analyzer to put on your site. StatCounter is a good place to get a counter because it is a free counter that will work on more than one page. Many free counters will only give statistics for a single page, requiring payment for additional pages. The downside of StatCounter is that only the last 20 referrers are given. If you only have one page or if most of your visitors enter from your main page, you may want to get a different counter. You could also put a different counter on your main page and then use StatCounter for your other pages.

Once you're logged in, click on the name of your blog. Then, click on "template" at the top. Select "Edit current" up the top (if it isn't already selected). Finally, add the code directly in the html below.

Once you are logged in as a managing editor, click on "Prefs" at the top of the page. Then, click on "Advanced". Then, click on "Template". The counter code should probably be added near the bottom, perhaps right before or after </body>. You can always move the code if you do not like the position of the counter. If you use a different template for your home page, click on "Home Page Template" and insert the code to add the counter to your home page, too.
